Salesforce CTI Integration

Step 01

Installation

Download Squaretalk for Salesforce. Run install from your browser (we support Chrome, Firefox, Explorer and Safari). Login with your Salesforce credentials and click Install button.

Approve third-party access

Check Grant Access and click continue.

Complete the installation

When the installation is complete click "Done".

Configuration (classic view)

On the All tab click (+)

Configure

Click on Extension Configures

Add a new record

Click on new to add a new record. Note: Ensure the extension number is unique for each user. Also, note that each Salesforce user can only be assigned one extension.

Setup

Click Setup

Find sites

Type sites in the quick find search box

Create a site

Create a site to configure the app

Fill in all required fields

Click on new to create a site. Fill in all required fields and click on "Save".

Activate

Go to setup and enter sites. Click on activate to activate the site. Click on the sites link and click on the name of the new site. Click on Public Access Settings.

Add classes

Scroll down the page and click edit in Enabled Apex Class Access section. Add two Classes: "SQT.CTIRestController" and "SQT.CallSetupApex". Click on "Save" button.

Custom settings

Navigate to Setup and type custom settings in the quick find box.

Provide basic access

Navigate to the site. Click on the "Edit" button. Provide basic access of Create and Read to Standard and Custom objects. Click on "Save" button.

Click on CTI Domain.

Click on Manage.

Add a record

Click on New to add a record for Domain setup to access the API. NOTE: Make sure to access the API for Softphone you need to add only one record.

Navigate to Setup and type "call centers" into the quick find box.

Scroll down the page and click on Manage Call Center Users
